1. Who we are
Enodo ("we", "us", "our") provides an AI-powered agentic workflow that automates the quoting process for engineering and manufacturing companies. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit our website or use our services.
2. Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, company name, country, and any details you share through our contact or demo booking forms. We also collect technical data automatically when you visit our website, including your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and referring URLs. If you use our quoting platform, we process the data you provide for quote generation, such as RFQ documents, specifications, and company configuration details.
3. How we use your information
We use your information for the following purposes, each with a lawful basis under UK GDPR Article 6:
- To respond to demo requests and enquiries (legitimate interest in communicating with prospective customers)
- To provide and improve our quoting workflow services (contractual necessity, as processing is required to deliver the service you have engaged us to provide)
- To send relevant updates about Enodo (consent, which you may withdraw at any time)
- To analyse website usage and improve the experience (legitimate interest in improving our service)
- To comply with legal obligations (legal obligation)
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
4. AI processing and your data
Enodo uses AI models to process RFQ data and generate quotes. Your company data and RFQ information are used solely to produce quotes within your workflow. We do not use your proprietary data to train general-purpose AI models. Your quoting data, company profiles, rates, and supplier information remain confidential and are only processed in the context of your account. All AI-generated outputs are subject to human review before any commercial decision is made. No solely automated decision-making that produces legal or significant effects on individuals takes place within our platform.
5. Data sharing
Our current subprocessors include Vercel (hosting) and Resend (transactional email). This list may be updated from time to time. Where any data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or standard contractual clauses. All third-party providers are bound by data processing agreements. We may also disclose data if required by law.
6. Data retention
We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to provide our services or as required by law. Contact form submissions are retained for up to 24 months unless you request earlier deletion. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
Quoting data, company profiles, rate information, and supplier details are retained for the duration of your active account and for 90 days following account termination, after which they are permanently deleted unless a longer retention period is required by law.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, object to or restrict processing, and request data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@enodo.ai.
8. Cookies
We currently use only essential cookies that are strictly necessary for the website to function. These do not require consent. If we introduce analytics cookies in future, they will only be set with your explicit consent via the cookie banner.
9. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Data breach notification
In the event of a personal data breach, we will notify the Information Commissioner's Office within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach where required by UK GDPR. If the breach is likely to result in a high risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify you without undue delay.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
12. Contact
If you have questions about this policy or your data, contact us at info@enodo.ai. This address also serves as our contact point for all data protection queries.
